The most important detail is confirming your wedding date and your wish to employ me.  A 'hold the date' fee is payable to secure your date at which point the date is exclusively yours and no other bookings will be offered to other brides.  The sooner you reserve your date with me, the less likely you are of being disappointed as dates do get booked up and frequently two or so years in advance.
